Message of Compassion & Peace
To the Government & Citizens of America with Truth!
Firstly, I wish leaders, brothers and sisters well & happy and for us to search for the right path to bring true peace for yourselves in the world.
For many decades all the world respect you as a big brother but as you know, this is not so these days. Because you do not bring true peace to small nations but bring benefit to your own country by the way of weapon production and trade. For the last 50 years our knowledge is still limited, but not so these days. Because our young brothers are not as stupid as you think, so they will not import weapons to slaughter their brotherhood.
As the victim of Vietnam War, I know the sufferings of war but by the Buddha teaching, I learnt to heal the anger in my heart even though the scar on my back is still there. I released and forgave everyone who does immoral things to me when I was only 9 years old. But I have to say the Truth to bring Peace for the benefit of others.
In these days, no place is safe because we have so many people with handicapped minds. We know that there are terrorists everywhere. There are 2 kinds of terrorist; legal and illegal. The illegal ones hide in the caves and jungles, while the legal ones stay in luxurious kingdoms or palaces. But both harm humanity and kill the innocent and no one can escape the hands of the Universe Justice.
The reason I wrote this letter is because one day I sent 2 of my students, a Malaysian and Indian national to apply for American visa. I am holding an Australian passport; therefore I don’t need a visa. That was the first time I came to the American embassy, I noticed the high security facilities e.g. high walls and modern surveillance facilities. This kind of outer security is like child’s play to me. But they don’t know how to have security in our hearts. This is why these days; developed/capitalist countries spend a lot of taxpayers’ money to pay for bodyguards and security protection.
Luckily while I was waiting for my 2 students to finish their interview inside the room, I met an African man beside me. He sat quietly but looked disappointed. And the high security officer from American embassy in Singapore, Mr. Russell Adams passed by me and we discussed about how we can build inner peace better than we make too many enemies and spend a lot of money to make the downfall of the country’s economy. We do not need to capture/kill the body of Osama bin Laden but we need to try to kill his wrong concept, which will benefit many.
After discussion, Mr. Adams left with a happy face and the African man who overheard our conversation thought I was talking about his internal hatred. So he looked at me with respect and he asked me who the man I was talking to was is. My answer was he is the high security man in the American embassy in Singapore. He looked at me like I was god but I told him, “No, I’m not god but a human on earth who has a heart of love, understanding to share”. He then asked, “How do you know what I’m thinking?” And honestly I told him I don’t know at all; just my mind was in mindfulness. So he asked me, “Does Osama bin Laden still exist?” I found this question very strange.
As the son of Buddha, I have to answer by the wisdom of universe. Of course this concept is not in your country and universities. I say Osama bin Laden maybe dead, maybe not or he has changed into a new person, who knows? When I say new person, this does not mean the body which is made up of 4 elements but the wrong concept already changed. The hatred and anger maybe dead because after he realized the attack on world trade centre has no benefit to the world but only bring harm and death of innocent people in poor countries like Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Or maybe he is still alive and still with hatred and anger until a trillion more lives until the time comes, he will explode again. After hearing me the African man, a lawyer was very surprised as he has never heard such concept before even though he was born a Christian but later converted to Islam.
As we know, you bring all weapons to use against another country, but a group of Osama brings the hatred in their minds and they enter legally into your country. So which is more harmful, the weapon’s harm is nothing compared to hatred in the minds. I say to Mr. Adams, Osama bin Laden is only one person and he maybe dead, but in your America, there are many legal war criminals who used Osama bin Laden's name as an excuse to attack other countries for their own benefits. Then everywhere I see we make so many enemies but we don’t know how to feed the food of love and compassion to our brothers and sisters of the world. On that, although we do not spend a single coin but there will be true peace on earth. That is the job big brother should do during the last 50 years and should continue in the present and into the future.
The African man after hearing this, his mind was full with the food (wisdom) that I gave him. Then he said, “God, I am a good man but they turn me into a bad person. After 4 days of waiting for the transit visa, I have no food to eat but thank you so much for the food (some noodles) you shared with me and also food for the mind. If I didn’t meet you, I don’t know what to do; sure there will be full of anger and hatred in my heart.” So I told him to let go and understand that everything happens because of Mr. Kamma (the law of cause and effect). So in your past life, you did bad things to them and this life you have to pay for it.
Leaders and citizens of America, luckily I used the holy water to end the fire of hatred burning in the heart of this African man. Otherwise, with his intelligence which may be worse than Osama bin Laden, he can train people to go against your country. So all the security at the American embassy in Singapore on that day learn about the way I preach.
This is the story about my visit to America in 2004. When I entered San Francisco international airport, 2 security officers passed by me and they noticed that I have no shoes on. They wanted to give me trouble as I was bare-footed and Asian. Quickly I took out my video camera to record what they were saying as evidence. That is the way of discrimination against a particular race but they forbid me to capture the video. They sped up to go to the immigration and I didn’t know what they were saying then but when I reached the customs, they refused to give me visa because I have no shoes on. They gave me trouble during the interview and at this time my illness during the Vietnam War recurred causing me to collapse and I had to be sent to the hospital. 3 days later at the court, I won my case, got my visa and proved that according to the Bible, Jesus Christ ordered for his 12 disciples to go bare foot as stated in Matthew 10. 9Do not take along any gold or silver or copper in your belts; 10take no bag for the journey, or extra tunic, or sandals or a staff; for the worker is worth his keep.
Of course it’s me who am applying for visa and not my shoes. And at least 50,000 new born American citizens each day are born without shoes and they are allowed to enter the country and more valuable than W. Bush. Everyone got a shock when we heard that during W. Bush’s last term, someone threw shoes at him. He has to bear this because his country does not allow Truth Messengers to enter. Majority of Americans are Christians but they don’t know the teachings in the Bible when Jesus sent out 12 Disciples, so how can we complain about the Jews who hanged the Truth Messenger on the cross?
I write this message to protect our human moral and to build back the trust of the world community. We do not need to live with the outer protection but we need to understand and share what we have for our brothers and sisters. We do not wait for the disasters/misfortunes to happen, then to show up to give help to the community but we must stop evil/bad doings before they happen e.g. Do not use bombs/weapons to kill/injure our brothers and sisters. Do good even in small things like helping the African man who was waiting for his transit visa for 4 days at the American embassy in Singapore. And purify your mind so that we know how to live from moment to moment with peaceful mind and heart. In this way, we do not import more enemies (Ignorance) to our minds and country.

I will be back to USA again this Monday and I hope this is the time I will have more powerful wisdom and compassion to not fear death and say the truth, not for the economy, body (4 elements) but for morality. We hope we can cooperate, you are me and I am you and all of us are the children of Mother Earth and Universal Wisdom.

Buddhist monk aboard Santana's scuba diving Thailand tsunami clean-up activities Today we participated in a clean-up dive at Patong Beach. The reknowned Buddhist monk Bhikkhu Buddha Dhatu was on board to pray and to bless divers as they entered the water. The remarkable man was born in Vietnam. As a child during the Vietnam war 70% of his body was burned with Napalm. He survived and became a Buddhist monk at 13. He joined the Barefoot World Peace Walk with the Dalai Lama, covering over 9,000 kilometers through 19 countries in 3 years. At the Sydney Olympics he released 3000 doves. Everybody is a VIP. Is it 'Very Important People'? No. It's ' Very Impermanent People'.

Off the shores of Patong, a Buddhist monk on board the MV Discovery vessel owned by
Santana Diving recited a prayer and blessed each diver before they jumped into the sea.
"We pray to the dragon god of the sea to protect the divers and to bless the souls of the
thousands of tsunami victims who died in suffering," said monk Bhikkhu Buddha Dhatu.
In a pavilion on the beach, a dozen Buddhist devotees sitting around a long table chanted an
hour-long special rite for the dead before burning paper money and making food offerings to
the deceased.
